Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development:
      • Design and develop high-quality, scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
      • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code.
      • Integrate front-end components developed by other team members.
  • Database Management:
      • Design and optimize database structures to ensure performance and scalability.
      • Work with MySQL or other relational databases for efficient data handling.
      • Implement data migrations, and queries as needed.
  • API Development:
      • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.
      • Integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Code Quality and Testing:
      • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and quality of applications.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and issues.
  • Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliverables.
      • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to team planning and retrospectives.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for the applications developed.
    • Ensure proper version control and maintain code repositories using Git.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially MySQL.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
