We are looking for a Mid-Level Automated QA Engineer to join our on-site team in Dokki for a 4-month full-time contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the stability, functionality, and performance of our software products. This role involves hands-on test automation, collaboration with developers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Identify and document bugs, and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Perform regression and integration testing to ensure system stability.
  • Participate in sprint planning and contribute to defining test strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports on quality metrics.
  • Enhance existing automation frameworks and recommend improvements.
  • Support occasional manual testing when required to ensure complete coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as an Automated QA Engineer.
  • Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#).
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, Newman, RestAssured).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD systems and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6).
  • Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based testing environments.
  • QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
